Sanook Spa
Sanook Spa at the Courthouse Hotel
The word Sanook means “Enjoy Yourself” in Thai.
The symbol for Sanook has been chosen for the following reasons:
Hands in the Hindu religion are very important and descriptive in dance and life. During treatments in a Spa the hands are very important from a comfort and pampering view. A Light candle is a symbol for Diwaili a very important religious festival in the Hindu calendar (Festival of Light).
A candle in treatments is a symbol of relaxation, warmth and caring. The Sanook symbol is a graphic representation of hands praying. The form also looks like the flame on the top of a candle making this an ideal symbol for Sanook representing the fire of life and healing hands.
